Little Spotlights: Mr Impossible and the Easter Egg Hunt- Roger & Adam Hargreaves

Ok so I did feature this in our Easter basket but being as it’s Good Friday I thought I would Spotlight a suitably themed book.

Mr Impossible and the Easter Egg Hunt- Roger Hargreaves (Creator) & Adam Hargreaves

Littlefae says:

Mr Happy is being a good friend, everyone finds an egg. Everyone finds an egg in their own way so they feel happy. Oh look there’s Little Miss Sunshine that’s {Tinyfae}

Tinyfae says:

I like the eggs, I like Mr Bump and Mr Tickle Tickle {gasp} it’s a ghoooost!

Mr Happy is hosting an Easter Party and asks Mr Impossible to hide the eggs but then worries no one will find the eggs! However in classic Mr Men style, it is exactly each individual Mr Men’s talents that lead them to discovering the hiding spaces and Everyone is happy.

A lovely Easter-time story that promotes friendship and teamwork and shows how we are all special in our own different ways.

I love that Adam Hargreaves is keeping his father’s Mr Men world firmly part of childhood for future generations, this is a great story in the spirit of the original stories but new and accessible and extra bonus in that the Large Format Book is all glittery and sparkly.

Mr Impossible and the Easter Egg Hunt- Roger Hargreaves is Published by Egmont in both small and Large Format and available online and from bookstores.

I originally received a copy of the Large Format edition for review purposes on another website. This has not affected my opinion and it only appears here out of choice and love for the book.
